What cookies and similar technologies this website uses, why, and how to turn them off.
01 What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies are commonly used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, or count and track visitors. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and tracking pixels — do comparable jobs by other means, and this policy covers those too.
Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another domain whose content appears on the page are third-party cookies.
02 What this site uses
This is a static website. It has no login, no shopping basket and no personalisation, so it needs very little.

Because we set no cookies that require consent, you will not see a cookie banner on this site. If that changes, we will add a consent banner that asks before any non-essential cookie is set, and this page will be updated first.
03 Third-party requests
Two things on this site cause your browser to contact another party. Neither sets a cookie, but both involve your IP address being received, which is why they are listed here.

The contact form on this site does not set cookies. It composes an email in your own mail client; nothing is stored on this site. What we then do with your enquiry is set out in our privacy policy.
04 The legal position
Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 requires consent before storing or accessing information on a visitor's device, unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service the visitor has requested. Since we store nothing on your device, no consent is required.
Should we introduce analytics or any other non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent first, make refusing as easy as accepting, and let you change your mind at any time.
05 How to disable or delete cookies
You can block or delete cookies for any website in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies will break sign-in and basket functions on many sites, though it will not affect this one.
- Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies, and Settings › Privacy and security › Delete browsing data.
- Safari (macOS) — Safari › Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data, and tick "Block all cookies".
- Safari (iOS) — Settings › Apps › Safari › Block All Cookies, and Clear History and Website Data.
- Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data, and Enhanced Tracking Protection.
- Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions › Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Most browsers also offer a private or incognito window, which discards cookies and storage when you close it. If you want to avoid the Google Fonts request as well, a content blocker that blocks third-party font domains will prevent it; the site will then render in your system's default typeface and remain fully readable.

06 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. Because we do no tracking, there is nothing for these signals to switch off here. We will honour them if we ever add anything that would be covered by them.
07 Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever what the site loads changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
